Rhoda Squires

Squires, Rhoda May 5, 1921-April18, 2019 After a long and healthy life, passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, Rhoda Squires, aged 97 years. Predeceased by her husband Gerard (Gerry), WW2 Veteran; and daughter Dale Butler, RN. Leaving with fond and loving memories her children, George (Patricia), Andrew (Ada), David (Ashley), Marty and Ann (Herb); 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; and son in law Roger Butler; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Rhoda and Gerry moved onto Tunis Court after the war, where they raised their family and tended their garden. Rhoda lived there until her recent move to Pleasant View Towers. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday April 21 from 7-9 p.m. and Monday April 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday April 23 from the Carnell Memorial Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
