Robert "Bob" Cowan Rose

Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in the presence of his wife Rosalind, Bob Rose, age 87 years. Predeceased by parents R. Clayton and Mary (nee Cowan) Rose; sisters: Louise Rose and Audrey Davidson (Cameron) (Calgary); sister-in-law June Rose. Retired Metrobus Driver, Robert leaves behind his loving wife Rosalind; daughters: Judy Best (Douglas) and June May (Dennis); and son Robert Rose (Nova Scotia); sister Mary Rose (Carl) (Corner Brook); brother Donald “Bud” Rose (Stella); brother-in-law Donald Fogwill (Rose); grandchildren: Kimberly Best Janes (Paul), Andrew Best, Denise Squire (Chris), Duane May (Tracey), Delphine Martin (Tommy); great-grandchildren: Nathan, Lauren, Evan, Kaitlyn, Colby, Jayden, Blake; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Special thank you to Penny, Lori, and the other nurses from Community Health, Mount Pearl. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, March 24 and Monday, March 25, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 2 pm with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
