GARLAND Robert Victor Passed peacefully away on January 22, 2020 at the Health Sciences Complex, with his daughter holding his hand, Robert Victor Garland, age 73 years. Leaving behind with their memories are his wife, Esther; daughter Beverley Parsons (Barry); cherished grandchildren, Jake and Kendra; Furry friends, Belle, Jazz, Timmy and Maggie; sister Ruby and family; brothers, Walter, (Beatrice), David (Jenny) and their families; brothers-in-law, Les Mitchell (Barb) and family, and Sam Mitchell. Sister-in-law Ethel Earle (Alex) and family, Carol McDonald and family. Many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Dr.’s, nurses of the Emergency Dept. 4 South A, Dialysis Unit of HSC, also the Mt. Pearl Square Dialysis Centre. Thanks to my brother-in-law Alex, who had given me transportation this past nine months while Robert was a resident of Chancellor Park. Your kindness was greatly appreciated. Thank you to Ms. Gloria Parsons and Mr. Barry Parsons and all staff of Chancellor Park Long Term Care. From the kitchen staff to the 3rd Floor East Staff, your kindness will always be remembered. No flowers or visitation by request. Cremation has already taken place. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 29 at 3 p.m. Donations may be made to the SPCA, Heavenly Creatures, Beagle Paws or any other animal rescue.
