SKANES Ronald Stanley Passed peacefully away at Tiffany Village on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 with his family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Jean Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law Elizabeth and Jack Hiscock, Phyllis Angel, Lew Miller, Gerry Dyke and Bill Miller. He leaves to mourn his sons Geoff (Jan), Gary (Roxanne); daughter Rhonda and daughter-in-law Sheilagh. Missing their pop are his grandchildren Pamela (John), Ryan (Laura), Lauren (David), Kristen (Patrick) and Cassi, as well as his great-granddaughters Taylor and Madison. Also leaving to mourn are his sister Angela Dyke; brothers and sisters-in-law Harold and Melvie Miller, Con Angel and Lorraine Miller; nieces and nephews, especially Joan and Judy Oakley; and his special lifetime friends Mick and Marg Day, and Irene Davis. Big thank you to Tiffany Village and all the staff on the 8th floor for their exceptional care and compassion. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10am-1pm. Funeral service to follow from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel at 2pm. No flowers by request.
