BOONE, Rosalind Aletha (nee French) With incredible sadness, the family of Rosalind Boone announce her passing on January 16, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents, Allan and Eunice French; brothers, Roy French and Dave French; brothers-in-law, Harry Sheppard and Roy Porter; sister-in-law, Bonnie French; and nephew, Kirk Fillier. Left with loving memories are her daughters, Wanda (Andre Asselin) and Cavell (Jim House); her granddaughters, Veronic (Jay), Kristal (Matt) and Krista (Jeff); six great-grandchildren; her partner, John (Skinner); brother, Allan; her sisters, Cavell, Sylvia (Mose), Daphne (Harman), Rose (Steve) and Allison; “seventh sister”, Ruth Saunders; sisters-in-law, Betty French and Myra French; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Resting at Slade’s Funeral Home, L.T. Stick Drive, Bay Roberts on Monday, January 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday, January 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at Grace United Church, Coley’s Point on Wednesday, January 22 at 2 p.m. with Interment to follow at the Grace United Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Rosalind's memory may be made to the Grace United Church or to a charity of one's choice.
