CHURCHILL Ross 1939-2020 Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Friday, September 25th, 2020. Ross Churchill, aged 80 years. Predeceased by his parents George and Edith Churchill; brothers Reg, Cyril, Shel, and Wes; and by his sisters Mabel and Gertie. Leaving to mourn his wife of 56 years Sonia Churchill (nee Earle); son Jeff (Elizabeth) Churchill; brother Jim (Ruth) Churchill and sister Rita Melendy. Also leaving to mourn special friends Guy and Margaret Penney, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Following COVID-19 restrictions, visitation will take place from 2-5 p.m. on Tuesday September 29th. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, September 30th at 2 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Inurnment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Bauline Line. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Parkinson Canada or a charity of one’s choice.
