WHITTLE Sister Patricia (formerly Sister M. Apollonia) May 2, 1936 – Sept. 21, 2020 Passed peacefully away at Presentation Convent, Cathedral Square, St. John’s on Monday, September 21, 2020, aged 84 years. Predeceased by her parents Augustus and Bridget (Clarke), her sisters Eleanor and Catherine, her brothers Peter and Thomas. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are the Presentation Sisters, her sisters Barbara, Grace (Rick) Cooper, Margaret (David) Pitcher, her brother Kevin (Patricia), her sister-in-law Margaret, her nieces, nephews and a special aunt Margaret Clarke (102 years), her friends in the Archival Community and other relatives and friends. Cremation will take place. A virtual vigil will be held at a time to be announced. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist when the pandemic restrictions are over. Interment will follow at the Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
