Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Saturday, April 21, 2018, Susie Smith, age 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence Smith; parents: Florence and Arthur Bowering; brothers: Rev. Nathan Bowering (Margaret) and Wallace Bowering (Ruby); sister Mabel Bowering. Leaving to mourn with fond memories, her loving daughter Dawne Smith and very good friend Frances Bowering; other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 5-8 pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Tuesday, April 24 at 11 am. Interment will take place at Grace United Church Cemetery, Coley’s Point at 2 pm. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Susie’s memory may be made to the Dr. H.
