IN MEMORIAM COX In Memory of My Darling Mother, Theresa Cox Passed June 5, 2019 We'll Get There (Part 3) Mother, my Darling, I'm writing to you again With one of you favourite lines That I now say and still hear "We’ll get there" It's still so hard to believe that your body has left here A year that I held your hand as you took your last breath, Mother dear I hope you know I kept my promise to you that by yourself you would never be. God had your hand when it left mine, I hope you did see Mother your strength and your kind heart, your beauty inside and out I will never forget; I promise that without a doubt God, You, and I, knows what we endured You gave me your strength to help us through My biggest hope is that your soul is resting in peace and feeling assured I hope your beautiful soul can see that I have pictures of you all around me and that I talk to you everyday. I hope that you can hear me, for that I always pray Mother my Darling I miss you so, and that, I hope you know. As I sit writing this for you I'm looking at the sky so blue You always marvelled at the blue sky I'll always remember the many times we sat together and admired it Just you and I I picture in my heart your soul enjoying the next life. You and Aunt Vicki laughing and giggling together more that once or twice. Just like you two, used to do With Dad by your side, and our special little Haley too. My Darling Mother, still trying my best, you got there, I am here We'll Get There Missed, Loved and Remembered forever, your daughter Debbie I finished this poem and looked at the blue sky Searching for a sign from you Mother, then on my leg landed a “Tiny” butterfly Thank you Mother Dear, I know We'll Get There
