Thomas Evans — Toronto
Born Fredericton, New Brunswick, son of David and Ethel Evans. Educated at the Universities of New Brunswick, London and California (Berkley). He was a member of the History faculty at Memorial University of Newfoundland. On retirement he resided in Toronto where he passed away on 24 September. His remains will be interred in Fredericton with those of his parents. At his request there will be no service or memorial. Remembered fondly by his many friends in Fredericton, St. John’s and Toronto and by relatives Stewart and Colette McConnell of North Tatagouche and Doug and Irene Hildebrand of Fredericton.
