Tyrone Patrick Neary

NEARY Tyrone Patrick It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Tyrone Neary, of Bell Island, on Monday April 6,2020. Tyrone passed away peacefully after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 58. Predeceased by parents Michael and Mary ( Nee Shea), brothers Francis and Ricky; four infant siblings and brother-in-law, Dave Churchill; mother-in-law Frances Whelan and father-in-law Gerald Keels . Tyrone will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife and best friend of 35 years Kathy (Nee Keels); two sons Ricky (Ashley) and Colin (Pam); Two precious granddaughters Lily and Callie who he cherished with all his heart . He will also be forever remembered by his brother: Edward (Mercedes); sisters: Lorraine (George), Elaine (Claude), Donna, Arlene (Lorne), Yvonne (Peter) and Natalie; Brothers-In-Laws Jerry (Tammy), Ronnie (Jodi) Sister In- Laws Lorraine (Dave), Sonya (Wayne) including many aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also by special niece Sarah. He will always be remembered for being a genuine and hard-working man who touched the lives of many people with his big smile and his generosity. He loved his job and often spoke of his “working family” at NL Power. Tyrone was a great chef, loved cooking up a “scoff” and enjoyed a good fire with music and friends, and loved spending time with Lily and Callie. Special Thank You for the kindness and compassion of Dr. Ayar and Community Health Nurse Fatima. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
