Valerie Pumphrey

Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on Saturday, June 8, 2019 surrounded by her loving family, Valerie Pumphrey, age 89 years, formerly of Corner Brook. Predeceased by her husband Kevin and son Thomas, brothers Thomas Hayes and Joseph Hayes and sisters Bernice Tomaskow, Bertha Yaegar and Joan Sparkes. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters Joan Pumphrey-Pye (Eric), Elizabeth Pumphrey and Peggy Pumphrey (Jim); daughter-in-law Margie; grandchildren Rick Pye (Ulrica), Terri-Lynn Pye (Tyrone), Jamie Pye (Leslie), Heather Ryan (Pat), Andrew Pumphrey (Maurita), Sara Wells (David), Kelsey Hynes and Kevin Hynes; great-grandchildren Blake Pye, Macy Pye, Janaya Pumphrey, Silas Pumphrey and Hudson Pumphrey, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 Lemarchant Road, on Friday, June 21st from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 22nd from Mary Queen of the World Church with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
