It is with saddened hearts that, on March 18, 2019, we announce the peaceful passing of Susan Violet Beatrice Neville (Sweetapple), in her 92nd year. Born on December 11, 1927 in Glovertown, NL, Violet is predeceased by: her husband Richard Neville of Paradise (previously known as Donovans); her daughter Kathleen Neville; her grandson Neville Richard White; her parents Thomas and Susan Sweetapple; her brother Thomas and his wife Tina Sweetapple; and her brother Edgar Sweetapple. Leaving to mourn: her brothers Hollis (Vera) Sweetapple, Don (Judy) Sweetapple, Doug (Linda) Sweetapple, Rupert (Carol) Sweetapple, and sister-in-law Sylvia Sweetapple; her children Gerald (Judy) Neville, Thomas (Elaine) Neville, Vincent (Dorothy) Neville, Richard (Jesse) Neville, Frances (Edward) Hearn, Stephen Neville, Florence Neville, Randy (Rose) Neville; her grandchildren Nancy (Geoffrey) Hickey, Cindy (Mark) Munroe, Jason Neville (Carol MacDonald), Robert (Kelly) Neville, Geoffrey Neville, Jennifer (Keith) Fahey, Greg Hearn, Richard (Nicole) Hearn, Krista Neville (Gunnar Asgeirsson), Adam Neville (Chelsea Rideout), Heather Neville, Cameron Neville, Julia Neville-White, Justin (Lesley) Neville-White, Vincent Neville (Kellie Power), Erika (Jonathan) Keel; her great-grandchildren Autumn Neville, Liam Neville, Gabriel Neville, Nathanial Fischer, Selena Hickey, Aiden Hickey, Matthew Munroe, Shannon Munroe, Jenna Neville, Jake Neville, Mia Neville, Zoe Neville, Luke Fahey, Maria Fahey, Avery Hearn, Quinn Hearn, Andrew Rose, Jaxen Healey, Asgeir Gunnarsson, Brendan Parsons, Lydia Keel, Hayley Neville-White, Kelsey Neville-White, and Rosalie Neville. She also leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family wishes to thank the 7th Floor East staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, as well as Dr. Genge and her team, for the care and compassion our mother received during her stay. Cremation and a private inurnment have taken place, as per her request, with no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will take place at a later date, in a designated area.
