Vivian Emmeline Batten

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre on Sunday, December 16, 2018, Vivian Batten, age 91 years. Predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth Batten; and her 3 siblings. Vivian was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew her – especially the residents and staff of Katherine House and special friends: Ann Murrin and Barry Oliver; and special feline friend “Patty”. Special thank you to Dr. Major for the wonderful care and compassion. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, December 19, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:30am with interment to follow at Forest Road Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Vivian’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
