ANTHONY Wilfred “Wilf” Passed away peacefully but suddenly at The Agnes Pratt Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 Wilfred “Wilf” Anthony age 83 years. Predeceased by his parents: Walter and Mabel Anthony; brother Arch; sister Winnifred Martin; infant brother and sister: David and Lola. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Joan (nee Dempsey); daughter Tina Anthony (special friend Terry Vere-Holloway; special grand puppy Gracie; brothers: Donald and Howard Anthony; also many special and wonderful nephews and nieces; other relatives and friends. Special thank you to nieces: Judy Mercer, Sandra Mercer, and nephew Don Anthony. Visitation to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 5-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
