William Ford Ryan

It is with a heavy heart we share the news of the passing of Ford Ryan on Thursday, February 7, 2019, in the company of family and friends. Ford peacefully left this world and journeyed with the angels into the welcoming arms of his parents Daniel and Edith Ryan. Leaving to mourn his one true love Leslie; stepsons: Jeffrey (Tracy) and Gregory (Deanna): his two precious granddaughters Faith and Paisley and special life time friend Vincent Abbott. Ford will be missed by his co-workers at Lockston Path Park, Salvation Army Mt. Pearl Corps and many organizations he volunteered with. Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff of Neurosurgery, HSC and the Palliative Care Unit, Miller Centre. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 5:00 -9:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 2:00 -9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel Ashford Drive, Mt. Pearl. As per request by Ford a second visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the United Church, Newman’s Cove from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from The United Church, Newman’s Cove. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Newman’s Cove. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ford’s memory to the Salvation Army Citadel, Mt. Pearl, Five Coves Fire Dept, Newman’s Cove or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
