Re: “Illicit filming of semi-nude women at Mount Pearl gym warrants jail time, Crown argues,” (The Telegram, May 11) I believe this young man will learn far more from a long sentence of community service, than from being thrown in with the inexperienced and experienced prisoners at HMP.
“(Judge) Gorman pointed to a pre-sentencing report that referred to Seymour as being socially isolated.”
I believe a sentence requiring Alan Seymour to be involved in community service for the same amount of hours he would otherwise be thrown into HMP for will effect life-changing, socially constructive choices by Seymour as he matures as a citizen among us.
