A plea to legislators worldwide: please stop wasting trillions on renewable energy. Why do I bother with my tirades against green energy? Firstly, I care about the future for my grandchildren. Secondly feedback on the street confirms my message. Consider that most of the human race lives in large cities. Fundamental to the health of these people is a number of services; clean drinkable water, efficient sewage systems, reliable electricity supply, public transit above and below ground, efficient garbage systems and food distribution, storage and supply systems. Add to that cultural activities that are no less essential. All such systems require reliable, non-intermittant electricity supply. Wind, solar, biomass and batteries don’t give that. Nuclear is the only solution. People who push renewables are either living in fairyland, or have a financial incentive to do so. Politicians; listen to the people on the street. They are not stupid.
