On my daily commute I travel Paradise Road multiple times a day, and it has continuously deteriorated at an alarming rate over the past six months.

As a resident of Paradise I keep up on the things going on at town hall.

On Sept. 22, 2017 the town issued a release on their website advising residents of resurfacing road work to be completed on Paradise Road from Stormont Street to Milton Road. This said work was supposed to be completed the week of Sept. 25, 2017.

It has now been almost six months and no action was actually taken.

This section of Paradise Road is in worse shape now than it ever has been. Had this work been completed as announced by the town when it was scheduled to be done. This section would not be in this bad shape.

Instead of the town taking action and actually doing the work they left it. Now the pavement is crumbling daily and it is only a matter of time until we are left driving on gravel.

Now that this has been neglected for so long it will end up costing more to repair it when spring arrives. This is just not good management. As a tax payer of Paradise I feel that this work should have and could have been completed in the time allowed in September of 2017.
