I am writing regarding the article (Atlantic Canadian residents who are immune comprised fear Covid-19 is a death sentence, Sept. 15) published on Sept. 15 on the Journal Pioneer website. I can see and understand why people who have illnesses that result in them being immune comprised to be a problem. I also feel that when people dare to not follow the proper procedures and rules that were set in place they put everyone at great risk. If only they understood that by not wearing their masks like they are supposed to they are potentially making those that have no immune system die. That is what could happen if they get it. So the use of masks, proper handwashing, and social distancing is vital.
