STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOS
I wish to comment on the May 29th article in The Telegram about persons offended by the sale of Nazi artifacts (“Man who lost family members in Holocaust opposes Nazi artifact sales”). Don’t like them? Then don’t buy them! Regrettably, apparently the store owner has decided to cover them up so as not to offend other sensitive souls. Where does this stop?
Many would find the Israeli flag offensive; others the Communist symbols icons of murder and tyranny; some would find religious symbols offensive. Cover them up, too? Many books and movie posters have swastikas on them. Wrap them in brown paper?
Just sheer ridiculous and ludicrous, trying to hide history.
