I for one would like to see, instead of the Janeway Telethon every year, that a telethon or large fundraiser for the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation be done.
I know they have planned expansions in mind and I am sure if more money was raised for this cause it would benefit all of us — as we are all affected by someone who has cancer or who is fighting cancer and as the population ages it will get worse.
They do such great work and more funds would just help in many ways.
