STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOS
In reading the press releases and some commentary on the recent press conference on the Muskrat Falls Project one is left bewildered.
I suspect most would agree.
What is for certain, though, is that this project (coupled with dilution of provisions of the Atlantic Accord and inaction on the fishery) leaves one with the feeling that what is transpiring is the “ward” status of Newfoundland in the 1930’s is now in full bloom again. Then London, now Ottawa.
Leadership has failed the people.
It will be many generations, if ever, that Newfoundland and Labrador will find itself having any real power over its destiny.
