When I was a teacher, I had a great vice-principal who guided me on my journey on becoming a better person. Let’s call her Marion.

When I was confronted with challenging parents and others outside of school, I was often impelled to give back what I received. But I then remember her great advice: “be the bigger person and don’t lower yourself to their level.”

U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered the company 3M not to export N-95 masks to Canada. Many people are suggesting we retaliate.

Come on! We are not kids in the school yard fighting over on who got the next turn.

We all know that Trump has a huge ego and hates being told what to do. The Canadian government should not lower itself to his level but should do the right thing — keep helping other countries and co-ordinate the efforts to stymie this dreaded disease.
