The song "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is so popular this year, especially with children. One thing, though, the song doesn;t really explain just how the most famous reindeer of all got such a shiny nose. We went to some of the experts at C.C. Loughlin Elementary School in Corner Brook to investigate further.

Question: How did Rudolph’s nose become red?

Like glow? Because, someone laughs at him it turns glow, it glows.

- Grade 1
Because he got nervous. His nose turned red.

- Grade 2
Hmm, I don’t know. Because he ate a lot of cherries?

- Grade 3
I don’t know. He was just born with it. When there’s no light he can see.

- Grade 2
Um, I don’t know. I think he put a lightbulb inside his nose.

- Grade 3
Ah, he was born like that.
