Atlantic indoor tennis championships begin in St. John's Thursday

Twelve players from Newfoundland and Labrador will represent the province in the Atlantic indoor tennis championship which opens Thursday in St. John’s.
The host province boasts three No. 1 seeds in the event, including top national junior players Aiden and Liam Drover-Mattinen.
Playing in the tournament slated for the Greenbelt Tennis Club:
• Aiden Drover-Mattinen (U16 and U18, top seed)
• Liam Drover-Mattinen (U14 and U16)
• Jasmine Rahman (U16 and U18)
• Rogan Betts (U14 and U16)
• Abby Leonard (U10)
• Nya Yeggapan (U10, top seed)
• Olwyn Mirchandani (U10)
• Declan Walsh (U10, top seed)
• Peter Drover-Crane (U10)
• Mark Bienkowski (U10)
• Daniel Patey (U10)
• Julia Drover-Crane (U12)
