C.B.S. staging Atlantic baseball tourney

The Conception Bay South Minor Baseball Association is playing host to the Atlantic 13-years and under AA championship this weekend at the Richard H. Parsons Memorial Field in Seal Cove.

Five teams are entered in the tournament, including the host C.B.S. Raiders and the Mount Pearl Blazers, representing Newfoundland. Other teams entered are

Kennebecasis Valley, N.B. Red Sox), Clark's Harbour, N.S. Foggies and Stratford, P.E.I. Athletics.

Opening ceremonies are set for 3 p.m. Friday. Championship game is 5 p.m. Sunday.
