Festival of Baseball off and running in St. John's

The Festival of Baseball, put on by the St. John’s Minor Baseball Association, features play in mosquito, peewee and bantam division on fields throughout the capital city.

There are entries from across the province, including teams from Corner Brook, Pasadena, Gander and Conception Bay North. Play is scheduled to continue today, with championship games set for Sunday.

There are two tiers in both the mosquito and peewee divisions and three in bantam.
