Holy Cross can wrap up their first St. John’s Molson Intermediate Baseball League championship since 2011 with a win tonight at St. Pat’s Ball Park.

The Crusaders have a 3-1 lead on Riverdale Storage Storm in the best-of-seven final entering today’s game at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday night, Holy Cross thumped the Storm 14-6. Starter Jacob Reid (5.1IP, 4H, 3R, 3ER, 1BB, 3K, 1HB), the first of three Holy Cross pitchers, got the win. Isaac Doyle (3IP, 7H, 5R, 5ER, 8BB, 4K) started and was tagged with the loss. The Storm used two other arms in the game.

Chris Edwards led the winners with a three-for-four performance at the plate. He also knocked in three runs.

Matt Hagerty collected two hits in a losing cause.
