The Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs edged the NTV Hitmen 6-5 Sunday to claim the title in the 39th annual St. John’s Day men’s fastpitch tournament.

Mark Lewis hit a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to deliver the victory.

The Bulldogs went 4-0 in the tourney, giving them 10 wins in as many games this season, including the team’s six victories in the Molson St. John’s senior league.

Blair Ezekiel of the Bulldogs was named MVP of the tourney, pitching three wins, including a complete-game performance in the championship game, and hitting three home runs in the tourney, including a two-run shot in the final.

Colin Walsh (5-5,.833 batting average, six walks) of the 3 Cheers Pub Bud Light Dodgers finished as the top batter.

The Bulldogs defeated the Chayee Bourras Wines Vines 9-2 in one semifinal, while the Hitmen downed The Bigs 14-3 in the other.
