Dan Connors scattered eight hits over seven innings, allowing only two earned runs as the RMM Gonzaga Vikings beat OMT Shamrocks 6-2 to tie the St. John’s Molson senior baseball final at two games apiece.

Game 5 is set for 7 p.m. Monday night at St. Pat’s Ball Park.

The hard-throwing Connors struck out four, hit one batter and walked two as the Vikings rebounded from an 8-2 loss Friday night.

Aging veteran Troy Croft collected two hits for the winners. Redmond Hunt went three-for-three in a losing cause.

Friday night, Scott Goosney (7IP, 9H, 2R, 2ER, 1BB, 6K) went the distance in pitching the win for the Shammies. Larry Grey (6.1IP, 8H, 5R, 2ER, 3BB, 3K. 1HB) suffered the loss, with relief help from David Lahey (0.2IP, 3H, 3R, 0ER, 1BB, 0K).
