OMT Shamrocks, Holy Cross and Feildians all registered wins Thursday night on a busy St. John’s Molson Intermediate Baseball League calendar.

At St. Pat’s Ball Park, Shamrocks cruised to a 9-1 win over Knights. Zack Fitzpatrick (5IP, 1R, 2 H, 2 BB, 5K) got the win with relief help from Dylan Mackenzie (1IP, 0R, 0H, 0BB, 0K). Kobe Weir (4.2IP, 9R, 8H, 4BB, 4K) was touched up for the loss. Ben Heffernan (1.1IP, 0R, 1H, 0BB, 0K) also pitched for the Knights.

MacKenzie had a pair of singles, with two runs scored for the Shammies.

In another game at St. Pat’s, John Cribb had a pair of doubles and knocked in two runs as Holy Cross thumped Gonzaga 12-1.

David Edwards (5IP, 3H, 1R, 0ER, 0BB, 5K) got the win. Starter Connor Swain (2.1IP, 6H, 9R, 8ER, 6BB, 0K, 2HBP) was banged around in taking the loss. Nathan Milley (1.2IP, 2H, 3R, 3ER, 2BB, 2K, 1HBP) finished up.

In Mount Pearl, Feildians outlasted the expansion Guards 15-12. Guards trailed 6-0 after two, scored 11 in the third inning, but the Double Blues rebounded for the win.
