It will be the OMT Shamrocks taking on the RMM Gonzaga Vikings in the St. John’s Molson senior baseball final.

The Shammies earned their berth with a 3-2 extra-inning win over Holy Cross Trinity Pub at St. Pat’s Ball Park Saturday, courtesy of a two-out, walk-off home run by Mike Dyke in the bottom of the 10th.

The victory gave the Green and Gold the best-of-five series in four games.

Scott Goosney (3H, 0W, 2K) got the win, pitching three and a third scoreless innings in relief of Shamrocks starter Matt Murphy (2H, 2R, 3W, 4K, 3HB).

Sean Janes (11H, 3R, 1W, 2K) went the distance for Holy Cross.

Dyke had three hits for the winners.

Matt Smith drove in two runs for Holy Cross.

The schedule for the final hasn’t been announced. But what is known, is that the serioes will deliver a familiar champion. The Shamrocks have won the last two St. John’s senior crowns. The Vikings had done the same in 2014 and 2015.
