In most cases, a baseball team would be well-served by scoring 10 runs.

But 10 runs weren't enough for the St. John’s Capitals, who lost 20-10 to British Columbia Friday at the national senior men’s baseball championship in Miramichi, N.B.

The result drops the Newfoundland and Labrador representatives to 0-3 in the tourney heading into their final game today against the host Chatham Ironmen.

Troy Croft, Brent Power and Alex Walsh each drove in two runs for the Caps in the baseball game that featured a score more akin to football.
