Mike Healey struck out 14 while pitching a five-hit complete game as Body Quest Generals downed the Gonzaga Vikings 7-1 in St. John’s Molson intermediate baseball Tuesday night at St. Pat’s Ball Park.

Healey, who allowed a couple walks, earned the win over Alan Saunders.

Ryan Hurley of the Generals and Alex Joy and Dakota Hewitt of Gonzaga all had two hits.

Hewitt stole two bases.

In another intermediate league contest Tuesday, the Riverdale Storage Storm throttled the Knights 11-2.

Winning pitcher Blake Fudge (6H, 2W, 6K) threw five innings for the win before giving way to Isaac Doyle, who struck out five in two innings of scoreless relief.

Matt Janes (4R, 3ER, 3W, 3K) took the loss despite allowing just a single hit over four-plus innings of work.

Bob Fahey of the Stephen Crooks of the Knights each had two hits.

A third game on Tuesday’ schedule, between Shamrocks and Feildians at St. Pat’s Ball Park was halted by rain the third inning.
