Alex Walsh had a memorable day at the park Saturday, scattering five hits to pitch a complete-game win and collecting three hits as Feildians defeated RMM Gonzaga Vikings 7-3 in St. John’s Molson senior baseball.

At St. Pat’s Ball Park, Walsh fanned seven and allowed three walks. Kieran Buckingham (7IP, 9H, 7R, 4ER, 5BB, 5K, 1HBP) was tagged with the loss.

Walsh had three base hits and knocked in a pair of runs. Mike O’Neil, Peter Madden, Troy Croft, Blair Rogers and Alex Comeau had the Gonzaga hits.

In another game, Knights slipped past Storm 4-3. Matt Sullivan (7IP, 5H, 3R, 3ER, 1BB, 4K, 1 HBP) got the win over Daniel Toope (7IP, 5H, 4R, 3ER, 9BB, 12K, 1HBP) in a well-pitched game, although Toope did suffer control problems.

The Storm’s Tyler Hennessey was the only hitter in the game with two hits. Hennessey also stole a couple of bases.

Friday night, OMT Shamrocks beat Holy Cross Trinity Pub 3-1. Starter Greg Barry (5IP, 2H, 1R, 1ER, 2BB, 4K) got the win, and Zach Fitzpatrick (2IP, 1H, 0R, 0ER, 0BB, 2K) came in for the save. David Edwards (7IP, 8H, 3R, 3ER, 1BB, 2K, 1HBP) was the hard-luck loser with a complete-game effort.

Redmond Hunt led the Shammies at the plate with a couple of singles, a run scored, RBI and a stolen base.
