Nick Evans drove in three runs and Dave Parsons scored three runs as Holy Cross Trinity Pub downed the RMM Gonzaga Vikings 14-4 in St. John's Molson senior baseball Friday evening at St. Pat's Bal Park.

It was the first win of the season for Holy Cross (1-3).

Evans had three hits, while Parsosn reached base five times, with two hits and three walks, in the game, which was called in the sixth inning because of the league's 10-run mercy rule..

Steve Crouse also had three RBIs for the winner.

Starter and winner Phillip Edwards (3IP, 2H, 3R, 1ER, 3W, 3K)  and reliever David Edwards (3IP, 3H, 1ER, 1W, 2K) shared pitching duties for the Crusaders. Gonzaga starter Larry Gray took the loss. Keith Spurrell finished up, tossing three-plus innings for the Vikings.

Gerald Butt had two hits for Gonzaga.
