The Vikings’ schedule ended Saturday with a 22-1 thumping of the Burnaby. B.C., Bears, who were to play in Sunday night’s final against New Brunswick.

The stats show the Vikings were hamstrung by defensive errors as 26 — or fully half the 52 runs they allowed in the tourney — were unearned.

Outfielder James Walsh was the top hitter for the N.L. entry in Victoria with a .571 batting average.
