Vikings force Game 7 vs. Crusaders in St. John's senior baseball final

Game 7 in the St. John’s Molson senior baseball final between Holy Cross Trinity Pub Crusaders and Gonzaga Roebothan McKay Marshall Vikings was postponed due to rain Sunday night.The game has been rescheduled for seven o’clock tonight at St. Pat’s Ball Park.Eight runs in the fourth inning of Game 6 earned the Vikings an 11-6 win Saturday to push the series to the limit.

Troy Croft paced the winners with three hits. Gerald Butt, Mike O’Neil, Peter Madden, Matthew Peterson each had two hits for Gonzaga.

Ron French, Matthew Smith and Dean Hammond had two hits each for Holy Cross.

Dan Connors pitched the victory over Justin Crawley.
