The St. John’s Edge dropped their fourth straight road game, the latest a 123-116 result to the Windsor Express Wednesday night in Windsor, Ont.

That came on the heals of a two-game sweep of Windsor last weekend at Mile One Centre in St. John’s.

The Edge, who tangle with the London Lightning Thursday night in London, the second of five straight games away from home, fall to 17-12. Windsor is right behind in the Central Division at 16-14.

St. John’s is 8-4 at Mile One Centre this season, but is 9-8 on the road.

Newcomer Russell Byrd, signed by St. John’s last week, scored a team-high 25 points off the bench. Byrd toiled with the Edge last season. Dez Lee sank 23 points and newcomer Shaquille Keith had 18. Junior Cadougan chipped in with 17.
