Jake Billard, 15, recorded 12th- and 13th-place showings at the recent Junior Elite national diving championships held in Montreal.
Billard was 12th on the three-metre board, and 13th on one-metre. He was the only diver from Atlantic Canada to attend. Billard started diving at the age of seven, and has been competing for the past eight years with the EDGE Diving Club out of the Aquarena in St. John’s.
He is coached by Rob Scott and Lesley Billard.
