The St. John’s Edge were busy again Wednesday, getting 6-8, 245-pound Bryce Washington under contract.

Washington, who hails from New Orleans, is the 13th player signed by the National Basketball League of Canada squad. Training camp opens in just over two weeks time, and interim general manager Carl English has said he’d like to bring 15 players to camp.

Washington played NCAA DI college ball at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In 34 games last season, he averaged 10.38 points, 10.47 rebounds, 2.12 assists, and 29.8 minutes of floor time.

Washington was named to the All-Sun Belt Conference first all-star team last season.
