Local basketball fans will have the opportunity to see the St. John’s Edge in game action for the first time when the National Basketball League of Canada expansion team holds an intrasquad game at Mile One Centre on Thursday.

The cost of admission is a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Community Food Sharing Association.

Intrasquad game tickets will be available to the public at the Mile One box office starting today and will continue to be obtainable through the 7 p.m. tip-off on Thursday.

The Mile One Centre doors will open at 6 p.m.

Seating for this event will be general admission apart from Edge season-ticket holders, who will have their seats reserved. All in attendance can take part in a courtside autograph session at the conclusion of the game.

The Edge continue their training camp in St. John’s this week. They make their NBLC regular-season debut on the road Nov. 18 and play their home-opener Dec. 1.
