Another Cup for Penguins and St. John's native Derek Clancey

The Pittsburgh Penguins’ win over the San Jose Sharks Monday night in San Jose, Calif., gave the Pens their second NHL championship in seven years. St. John’s native Derek Clancey (second from left, without cap) was part of both teams, as Pittsburgh’s pro scout in 2009 and as the club’s director of professional scouting this season. That means the 47-year-old Clancey will get a second championship ring to go along with the one presented him seven years ago, whose design is shown from the side and top in the slideshow.
