Stephen Predham scored three goals and assisted on another, and Jared Ostroski collected a pair of goals as the Mount Pearl Mark’s Blades took a one-game lead on the CBR Assante Wealth Management Renegades in the St. John’s Junior Hockey League final Tuesday night at The Glacier in Mount Pearl.

The Blades lead the best-of-seven final 2-1, with Game 4 slated for 7 o’clock Saturday night at the C.B.S. Arena.

The Blades finished first in the regular season, losing only two games in 28 starts. The Renegades were second at 21-4-2-1.

Colin O’Neill, Daniel Toope and Mitch McGrath also scored for the Blades Tuesday. Grant Thompson and Michael Broders both collected three assists.

Luke Peddle and Colin Chafe replied.
