Brett Ritchie and Par Lindholm scored in the third period to lead the host Boston Bruins past the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-2 Tuesday.

David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand had a goal and an assist apiece as the Bruins snapped a two-game skid. Pastrnak has eight goals in his last four games amid a seven-game points streak, and Marchand extended his scoring run to eight straight (five goals, nine assists).

Tuukka Rask stopped 28 shots to earn the victory in his 500th NHL game.

Kasperi Kapanen and Alexander Kerfoot each had a goal and an assist for the Maple Leafs, who lost for the second straight night after an overtime defeat Monday. Michael Hutchinson made 35 saves.

Ritchie's goal, assisted by Jake DeBrusk, snapped a 2-2 tie at 6:35 of the third period. It was Ritchie's first score since tallying in his first shift as a Bruin in their season opener.

Boston survived a Toronto power play when Sean Kuraly was whistled for high-sticking with 4:12 left in the game. Once the penalty expired, Kuraly came out of the box and wristed a shot, his rebound pushed through by Lindholm with 2:03 left for the 4-2 margin.

Pastrnak had a goal overturned midway through the first period after replay triggered by a Maple Leafs challenge showed Patrice Bergeron was offside on the play. It wouldn't be long before Pastrnak would score one that counted, tallying on the power play with 2:45 left in the period on a slick handle through his legs that went between the pads of Hutchinson.

The goal marked 300 career points for Pastrnak as he became the first NHL player to reach 10 goals on the season.

Toronto tied the score at 1 when an undefended Kapanen sniped a one-timer past Rask on the stick side at 4:23 of the second period. Boston went up 2-1 on a Marchand score 1:46 later, after Pastrnak shed Auston Matthews with a spin pass to earn an assist.

The Maple Leafs made it 2-2 when Kerfoot was left alone on the power play with a wide-open net at 12:54 of the second.
