George Bursell is returning as president of the St. John’s Junior Hockey League.
The league held its annual election of officers on Saturday, with Bursell re-elected for a two-year term.  
Also re-elected was registrar Bern Tobin.
Newly elected were treasurer Colin Gosse and director of public relations Bob Crocker, both for two years, and director at large Chris Whelan, for one year.
Vice president Jim Hare, director of statistics Gerry Taylor, secretary Cathy Doyle and director of minor officials Steven Clarke all are back with one year remaining on two-year terms.
