In a story in Thursday’s edition of The Telegram, it was stated that the start time for the Newfoundland Growlers home game Saturday night against the Brampton Beast at Mile One Centre was at 6:30 p.m.
This is incorrect. The game begins at 7 p.m., the normal time for Saturday ECHL contests at Mile One.
The mix-up stems from the ECHL website, which listed the game starting at 6:30 p.m. local time. The schedule on the Growlers’ website default links to the league’s website.
A Growlers spokesperson says they are aware of the glitch, which originates with the league site, and are working to correct it, although the ECHL website was still listing the wrong timeas of llate Thursday.
