Newfoundland and Labrador will be well-represented on the teams wearing Canada’s colours at the 2018 ISBHF world junior ball championships in St. John's next July.

Dawson Mercer of Bay Roberts, Adam Mouland of Gander, Brent Broaders of Fogo and Jack Keough of Mount Pearl are on the U18 squad, while James O’Brien and Jesse Sutton of Mount Pearl, Jordan Maher of Gander and Joel Bishop of St. John’s are on the U20 team.
Mercer, Sutton, Maher and Bishop all play in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
