The snarl at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport that saw hundreds of flights cancelled Wednesday as a result of a snowstorm to hit the city caused the Newfoundland Growlers’ ECHL game in Atlanta postponed Wednesday night.
The game against the Atlanta Gladiators will be played 9:05 NL time Thursday night.
The Growlers’ flight from Toronto to Atlanta was cancelled, but the team did eventually manage to get to Atlanta on three different flights.
The Growlers are third overall in the league with a 32-14-3 record and are 6-4 in their last 10 games. The Gladiators have been struggling at 19-19-7-1.
